Twinkle

(verse 1)

She meant the whole world but for her he was the whole world
She was his only girl but at times
She wished she was the only girl he would ever spend time with
Been together infinitely it was definitely timeless
Bottomless depths she swam into
Whirlpools of love where she breathes in out and bleeds too
Sees through his hard hat of trust, but underneath
The thick skull she was the soul in the life that he leads
He leaves her eager to see her arms around him
Whenever the winter gets too cold in her surroundings
Named her a star so she’d outshine the darkness
Gave him another million coz she never stopped counting
That’s how long these rocks pierced her skin
Constellations of words that could just burst, but then
The turmoils under sparkles gets settled from within
Adjusts his gaze dials the telescope to talk to her again

(verse 2)

And they talked about the big bang underneath their chest
The day they collided long before she hit the road for the best
Long before the mess spawned from the other galaxies
Ignored the fallacies about the damaging distance
Heavyweight lovers through the light years
The only dark matter is the matter of her fragile bones if he held her tighter
Heightened anticipation as she patiently dreams
About the nearing end so she can finally breathe
Calculate degrees of love and you can pin point
The coordinates of their nebula where each smile is born
Heart is torn when he turns around to face another
Feels overshadowed half the time but keeps it undercover
And she’s set to rise in his horizon despite the time zones
Every hour orbiting each other is another milestone
And all i do is sit back, watch, and listen
As my elder sister grows to grow her own solar system

(verse 3)

And the absence of his celestial body often leaves
A black hole of which the gravity is love and she’s hopelessly
Drawn to the icy strokes of his trail
Collecting every star dust to reinforce herself
And she journeyed through the orbits without the wormholes,
Far away from home, roam like a homeless
Holding on to dreams of wearing saturn rings
As she zeros in hyper speed to his coordinates
Constantly trace the stars with her fingers
To leave hieroglyphics so his zodiac could reach her
Communicate in golden texts to let her know he’s listening
And even if she silenced herself she secretly misses him
And i could relate to the frustration
Coz putting love on the phone line requires patience
But still they shine brighter than i could ever try
And every night i see them slow dance up in the sky
