Hello,Missed

Rain drops cats dogs steady pouring
Like my heart a couple of seasons before-
The final wave hit the shores, to settle the scores
But you paddled back and I see the light once more
Fashionably laid, clear my mind stains on your coat
Ignite spites, exchanged rage, rock the boat
Soaking wedding plans, hand me the towel
To sit and talk before we go off again being sour
It’s the same hour we parted last time
Sitting benched waiting to depart, but what I had in mind-
Were the stories I penned in the pen
Of palling around with the verge of collapse back then
Letters never sent, but hell bent on proving
How much writing with bloody inks isnt amusing
But I’m confused, coz you looked unusually attractive
With the frown upside down before giving me your hands-
We, crossed corridors, cutting corners
Borderline bliss, I was partly enjoying this
Conversed in hollow hellos, angels who lost halos
Ignite the spark of old flames ‘fore the pain got involved
The unresolved banged my chest
Guess you saw my broken smile, but you couldn’t care any less
I tested your new soul, learn the curves of your currents
Sheltered you from the falling tears as we came running
But somehow the rain pierced everything we threw at it
Still I wanted this moment to last like a true addict
Love is true magic but that’s a long lost chapter
I’d like to tell you how I’ve lived since our hereafter
Laughter was the language as we walked along
Didn’t seem to wonder where we’re headed for
Coz it’s the sunshine dreamt impossible, I couldn’t get enough
But the rain wouldnt stop till i was woken up
